With the full moon now waning we will see a little less of it with each passing day and night. What does this mean for us? What does it mean for you?
It’s the perfect time for reflection. I invite you to take some time to reflect on your life in the period of the waning light of the moon. Since the new moon, what have you experienced in your life that you are grateful for? There are so many things, countless! Imagine if we could recall that time when we walked the earth as cave women and cave men. Imagine our living environment and what we needed to do on a day to day basis just to survive! How does that feed your imagination for gratitude in the now?
I thank the universe every morning for the fresh clean clear air that I am fortunate to breath every day which is my life support. In many ways we have much more now than the cave peeps could even fathom, however I’ll bet big bucks that the air they inhaled every day was a lot cleaner than what we have. From another perspective, have you ever struggled for air? Or have you ever watched someone with a lung disease struggle to fill their lungs and to breathe? I watched my father struggle with the aid of an oxygen machine in the last days of his life. Seeing someone suffocating can give you an amazing understanding of the true gifts that we are the beneficiaries of every day of our lives.
When we recognize this, appreciate this and open our hearts and souls to all of the gifts we receive, then we are aligning ourselves with the high vibration of gratitude and thankfulness. Appreciation is amazing energy and when you appreciate, you also create. You are invoking that energy field within and around you. When you shift your perception to ALL that you HAVE then ALL you HAVE will attract even more. I have personally experienced this, and we will explore this with the next new moon in Aquarius.
The waning moon also invites us to now consider the things in our life that we need to let go of in order to create space for the new. Perhaps in creating your plans for change this year – and in the beginning stages of working with your plan – you may have realized there are some things with or in your life that are not going to allow change to happen. This is where you may need to give serious consideration to the importance of those things and whether or not you really need them. It is imperative to understand that you are shifting energy and old energy has to move on so that new energy can move in. This initial stage of the waning moon is our opportunity to pause and as that final beautiful light of the full moon dissipates, imagine the energy of anything and everything in your life that you no longer need dissolving with the light of the moon.
Take some time for yourself and continue to connect with your feelings in this time of letting go and while you reflect on all the wonders of the world and in your life, enhance your personal energy with appreciation and gratitude for all that you have and all that you are. Loving YOU!
